Le Grand Brand presented the first-ever vogue ball extravaganza to be hosted as a part of Boiler Room x Ballantine’s True Music Studios, featuring some of SA's most exciting LGBTIQA+ Hauses and collectives, alongside some hotly-tipped new DJs and artists you will soon be knowing about.
Hosted by Delta The Leo and long-time Umlilo collaborator Lulubelle, the genre-bending line-up includes the ground-shaking live performance from kwaai diva Umlilo and friends Mx Blouse, Hlasko, Gyre, and Mr Allofit. The artists performed songs from the Nkululeko EP released last year through Future Kwaai Records.
The “Satin Return Ball”; is a veritable eruption of looks, moves, and beats, showcasing and celebrating some of the finest artists and Hauses in SA, presented in a full competition format.
The artists performing live will be showcasing their full musical sets at the Legrand Queer Art Experience on 4 March.
