Qhakuva AR Film by Umlilo and Francois Knoetze

On the left is Qhakuva, which tells the story of a distant dystopian future set in South Africa where a space traveler lands in the city of Joburg, wrecking their mode of transport. They begin to explore this foreign land, much to the amazement of the people. It speaks to a certain kind of mobility, and the ability to travel to different dimensions and worlds. The short film and music video was done using AR technology and 360 video. It was featured at In-Sonera Festival in Barcelona and Goethe Institute's Archive of Forgetfullness.
