Umlilo is one of the facilitators for OneBeat Virtual Residency for five years running. The program, sponsored by the US Department of Arts and Culture, brings together 35 artists from all over the world over the course of two months. The artists share an online space where they experiment with new forms of virtual collaboration, wrote and produced new works, and created a series of streamed performances for the public.
